Восхитительно! Lovely!
Это я про само существование Альтернативных DNS. Узнал про это всего полчаса назад и тем самым нанёс существенную встряску своему мировоззрению.

Beginning at www.geek
Just got in. It's great here and generally in the Alternative DNS space. Just the right place for a freak like me.

The real www.geek is back!
After some drama with moving ... the server was down.
It's back now!

The beginning...
tuxhelper.geek not working I managed to screw up as usual..
In the dns categories I added my webhost dns names. "DNS IP 1 & 2
So gonna have to figure out that. Prolly contact julian and see what's up. Learn some more stuffola.. ;)
But the websites of the opennic & geek projects are looking good. so that is a positive.
Gonna have to add more to the wiki to give depth and understanding for those interested or come across.

Geek Whois Database Running
As the hostmaster of the geek gTLD, I am pleased to announce that whois.geek is now live. This site allows you to see what geek domains are available to register. The address is http://whois.geek
I would like to say a big thanks to Jon Hebb from hebbnetworks.com for all of his hard work he put into the whois site. All I can say is I can not wait for him to finish of the my.geek site. In the end this site will handle the domain registrations for geek domains! Un-fortunately not ETA for the site as of yet. Stay tuned!

Want to vote as a Geek member?
If you want to vote as a geek member (you might want to do that (*hint hint*), please update your profile by going to My Account > Edit > Geek and add one of your valid working GEEK url there.
For example, I run both uber.geek, search.geek and www.geek. I put http://uber.geek into my profile.

The Uber.geek toolbox
In effort to help OpenNIC members to fix and diagnose issues with DNS. I created a page with a few tools to use.
Check out http://uber.geek/toolbox.php or http://uber.texnofobix.net/toolbox.php

Grep.geek and Search.geek
There are 2 OpenNIC search engines that I'm aware of. One has been around longer as http://grep.geek, and there is the one that I run called http://search.geek. Have fun!
