There are three easy ways to get help within OpenNIC. The easiest way is IRC. A response can be quick to get and this method allows you to get through any issue in accessing OpenNIC.
IRC:
OpenNIC has a channel #opennic on freenode.net. In this room are quite a few members, and a lot of OpenNIC ideas are talked about. This is a great place to come and visit. It gives you a chance to see how OpenNIC operates and what the members are like. To request a opennic freenode cloak msg purrdeta in the IRC room.
Forums:
The forums on the main website is only a young service from OpenNIC. It is steadily becoming popular, with a lot of good discussions being discussed. Presently the forums have been a good method to answer questions from people who are interested in OpenNIC. The link to the forums is available on the menu to the left. Please be aware that sometimes posts go unanswered for awhile.
Mailing list:
The mailing list is by far the best and easiest way to communicate within OpenNIC. Following this link, http://bit.ly/8Z0lmo will present the web form to subscribe to the mailing list. The mailing list is essential the primary means of communication within OpenNIC. The list is currently archived at gmane.org.
